- Digital Technology
Scouts will learn about various technologies of the digital age. Participants will identify the four major parts of computer systems and gain an overall knowledge of how a computers work. There is a $10 fee for program materials. - Robotics
Earning the Robotics merit badge requires a Scout to understand how robots move (actuators), sense the environment (sensors), and understand what to do (programming). Throughout the week, participants will build robots both individually and as a team using a variety of materials. We recommend that Scouts be at least 13 years of age in order to participate. There is a $15 fee for program materials. - Electronics
Electronics is the science that controls the behavior of electrons so that some type of useful function is performed. Scouts will explore the functions of electronics by building robots! - Space Exploration
Scouts will explore the mysteries of outer space through discussions and several creative activities. One of the highlights of the week is to construct a model rocket and launch it into the sky. There is a $15 fee for program materials. - Chess
Scouts will learn about the game of Chess! Scouts of all skill levels, from beginners to experts, are welcome. Participants will explore strategies and skills to improve and practice their Chess abilities throughout the week.
