Join us at camp this year for a great employment opportunity! Camp Bud Schiele is looking for some excellent seasonal staff to support summer programming at our 1,500 acre facility in Rutherford County, in the beautiful Piedmont of North Carolina. We employ about 50 staff each year to serve in a variety of positions ranging from merit badge counselors and lifeguards to administrative and ranger staff.
Fill one of our many positions from Waterfront, Handicraft, Climbing, to Shooting Sports and many more. Parents send their children to camp because they perceive benefit from the experience. In some cases, the parents are former scouts themselves and have experienced the value of camp firsthand. Others have been persuaded to try a camp experience as they seek positive developmental activities for their scout and troops.
Regardless of the reasoning behind their decision, all parents and leaders share the hope their scouts will have fun, learn new skills, make new friends, and safely return home at the end of the camp experience. These hopes are shared by camp staff, directors, and councils everywhere. It’s no secret that summer camp would not function without the dedicated staff.
Camp Bud Schiele serves thousands of youth in our summer programs each year. Due to the unique nature of our seasonal operations, we’re looking for motivated, professional, and hard working staff to help us provide one of the best summer camp programs in the southern United States.
