Grand Ole Adventure

In 1992, Camp Bud Schiele introduced a unit competition program called the “Grand Ole Adventure!” For more than 30 years, this program has offered Scouts the opportunity for a fun-filled day of competitive events. 34 Years later, the timeless traditions continue! 

In honor of the nation's 250th Anniversary, Grand Ole Adventure will be called, "The Liberty Games"! The Liberty Games will begin on Friday at 1:10 PM. We will begin the Liberty Games with the Kickball Tournament located on the Activity Field. If your unit is not one of the four units on the Activity Field, you may go throughout camp and participate in the other Liberty Games.

At the Friday night campfire, troops placing first through third place in each event will be recognized. It would also be acceptable for smaller troops to join to increase the available “scout power.” The Liberty Games will conclude after the Championship Kickball Game.
