Off Season Camping--Main Camp-Camp Bud Schiele
Campsites will be available for reservation except for the summer camp seasonal months of June, July, and August. From the months of November to April, the Piedmont Scout Reservation will be winterized, and no water will be available during those months. To tent camp the cost is $2.00 per person/per day (Out of Council--$3.00 per person/per day). NOTE: Tents are NOT provided.
Staff cabins are available for units and groups during the off-season. There are eleven staff cabins that sleep 4, and one staff cabin that sleeps 2 which also has a bathroom. All staff cabins have electricity. Bathrooms are available in the back of the Staff Lodge. Staff cabins are $25 per night per cabin.
Other facilities/spaces available to reserved:
Waterfront: The waterfront is available for use under the conditions that Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat Guidlines are followed. There is a charge of $5 per canoe if used.
Shooting Range: The Shooting Range is available for $50 per day. This includes use of the range and Council owned firearms. Use of the Shooting Range does require an NRA RSO and NRA Rifle Instructor. This must be two separate people and must be provided by the unit. You must also provide your own ammunition.
Climbing Tower: The Climbing Tower is available for $10 per Scout per day. There is also a $50 instructor fee. The Instructor is provided based on availability.
The OA Shelter is an outdoor shelter that accommodates 100+ people. The cost for the OA Shelter is $35 per day.
The Handicraft and Scoutcraft Shelters are smaller shelters that are located around Camp and accomodate approximately 50 people. The cost for the Handicraft and Scoutcraft Shelters is $20 per day per shelter.
