Nestled in the Foothills of Western North Carolina, Piedmont Scout Reservation is a premier Boy Scout Camp in the Southern Region.  Located in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Camp Bud Schiele is the centerpiece to the 1500-acre Piedmont Scout Reservation. 

For off-season camping, units can tent camp all-year round at the Piedmont Scout Reservation.  During certain times of the year, tents may be available.  At Camp Bud Schiele from October to April, the main camp (Camp Bud Schiele) will be winterized and no water will be available during those months. 

Cub Scout Camp is a family camping experience that allows for all year camping except during the summer camp season of June/July/August.  This camping facility provides a more camp ground experience with close set campsites and nearby bathhouses.
